Occupied Japan Shofu China Plate Hand Painted Flowers Signed K Hayashi intarsia cashmere This is a semi-porcelain luncheonThis is a lovely display plate hand painted with flowers, I believe peonies, signed K Hayashi. The underside is marked Hand Painted Shofu China Made in Occupied Japan. The plate measures 9 1 8 in diameter and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Pieces that are stamped Occupied Japan date to between 1947 and 1952. It is strung on the back in order to enable hanging the plate on a wall. Great addition to an occupied Japan collection
